Spoon Sports has announced pricing for their Type R specification USDM NSX conversion, as well as a little more information regarding the availability of the car.

Spoon’s LHD NSX-R is now available to order from Spoon, however pending approval from various US road safety and registration departments the cars cannot legally be driven on the road. Spoon are confident the registration process will be completed soon though, which is good news for those who don’t want to confine their USD $60,000-plus JDM-spec supercar to the racetrack.

Prices head up from the $60k mark depending on what options the customer requests. For example, if you really want to dilute the purity of the Type R experience, then Spoon Sports will happily accommodate your wishes with whatever modification you desire - wide-body kits and twin turbo conversions included. Otherwise, expect pricing for a basic JDM-spec NSX-R to range between $60,000 and $69,000.
