If you’re wondering what’s going on and why you’ve been redirected from your beloved JPCN to this new-fangled “TMRtuned” site, listen up, for we’ve got news for you.

Regular readers of Japanese Performance Car News will have noticed that the site essentially stalled at the start of this year. We think the alternator crapped itself. After a lengthy hiatus (during which time I jumped over to The Motor Report), it was decided that we’d go back to the wrecking yard, pick up the rusting hulk of JPCN and give the old gal a new lease on life.

And here she is.

We’ve fixed up the dents, given her some new bodywork, upgraded the injectors and turned up the boost, and we’re pleased to say that JPCN is now back with a new name: TMRtuned.

It’s also got a new focus, for no longer will the news be specific to Japanese performance cars. That’s right, TMRtuned will be covering the gamut of the high-performance car world, and will bring you the latest developments in modified vehicles from all over the globe - in addition to all the cool stuff from J-land.

So plonk your ass in that fixed-back bucket seat, strap on the harness and grab onto the “Oh Shit” handle - TMRtuned is about to kick into high gear.
